Breaking Hall Of Fame News
According to Bella Onlines wrestling editor Patty Therre, Bret Hart will not be making an appearance at this years Wrestlemania. Vince MacMahon has tried desperately to get Bret to appear for some time at the Wrestlemania show in some fashion, but Bret has steadfastly refused, even to go so far and saying that his only promise is to show up a the Hall of Fame ceremony, but that he would even walk out on that if he even sees Shawn Michaels in the audience. For those of you who don't know, Bret and Shawn DO NOT get along due to a long running feud between the two, culminating in the infamous Montreal Screw Job incident. Some people feel that Bret, in agreeing to be inducted to the WWE HOF, is selling himself out because of the above mentioned situation, for which case Bret has said he doesn't feel guilty in wanting to be remembered. At any rate, Bret is scheduled to fly out of Chicago early on Sunday morning, hours before Wrestlemania is to take place. For those of you who are interested, the last hour of the Hall of Fame ceremony will be airing on the USA network at 11 p.m. April 1. The first two hours of the ceremony will be streamed on the WWE website so you won't have to miss a minute of the show if you have a high speed connection. The last hour will be the induction of Bret and probably the late Eddie Guerrero. Look for most of the roster to be in attendance. Shawn Michaels has stated that he won't be in attendance, however, if Bret feels that strongly about him not being there, which he does. I, for one, feel that Bret deserves his rightful place along the other greats in the HOF, but I would be lying if I said that is what I am looking forward to the most. I will not miss the HOF induction of my wrestling hero, Eddie Guerrero! VIVA LA RAZA!
